As a customer data platform (CDP) consultant at Maark, you’ll play a lead role in defining and delivering world-class data-driven marketing solutions utilizing various CDP applications like Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and related applications like Adobe Real-time Customer Data Profile (RTCDP), Adobe Journey Optimizer, and Adobe Analytics to infuse real-time customer data from various sources into complex marketing outcomes. The ideal candidate will be excited to lead client workshops to identify and document business requirements and use cases, define data sources and processes, and facilitate design and development efforts to drive end-to-end digital transformation projects.

 

As a data strategist and CDP consultant, you will…

• Serve as the lead between internal or external stakeholders to identify and define business needs and align with technical teams to translate these needs into technical requirements.
• Perform gap analyses between the current state and future state recommendations
• Assess and document current state and future state, functionality, and requirements for data systems, applications, and marketing channels.
• Support the engineering team throughout development in ongoing requirement updates.
• Develop functional and technical solutions to deliver on requirements, spanning data processes, data ingestion, analytics, id resolution, segmentation, activation & personalization
• Support quality assurance activities, own process changes, and ensure design changes meet the business requirements.
• Drive core Agile processes, including story creation, backlog refinement, and product demos
• Manage, mentor, and train other consultants

 

You may be a fit for this role if you...

• Have 2+ years of CDP consulting experience
• Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information systems or computer science
• Have 3+ years of experience as a marketing technology consultant.
• Experience organizing and facilitating client workshops
• Working knowledge of data schemas, relatable datasets, customer profiles, profile stitching, and id resolution
• Understanding of data pipelines, data warehousing, and data lake concepts
• Knowledge of integrating databases and marketing platforms.
• One or more years of experience with Adobe marketing applications and other CDP platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating data processes and technology skills
• Ability to be a self-starter and handle multiple tasks and priorities

 

Nice to have experience...

• Adobe Certifications regarding Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Real-Time CDP, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager.
• Business Consulting experience in Mar-tech and data-driven marketing solutions
• Experience working in an agile implementation environment
• Prior CDP and mar-tech consulting experience with any CDP platform.
